Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Here's an amazing and scarce piece for vintage dive watch fans. The 1960s Sandoz Depthmaster 'Baby Panerai'. There are several dial variants of this watch; and this sunburst variety was in my opinion the best visually -- certainly a sleeker more 60s look than the Nivada 'Pac Man' which seems to be getting the most attention. The 25J automatic movement was been fully serviced two years ago by my Breitling-trained master watchmaker in 2016 and it is running perfectly. It features a turnable painted bezel. The crown is the non screw-down variety. The dial has mellowed perfectly over the years and has a slightly matte appearance with some fading to the printing below. The bezel shows a 3mm crack in the bezel edge by the '15'. The crystal is new. 37x45mm. Complimented by a Hodinkee-style leather band. I have included a ChronoTrader tagged image. I have references on ChronoTrader, WatchUSeek, TimeZone and eBay.
I offer a three day inspection period: once you receive the watch, you have three days to check it out, enjoy it, impress your friends. You can contact me at any time in those three days and return it--for any reason--in the same way that it was shipped to you. I'll inspect it on receipt and if everything's the same as when I sent it, you'll get an immediate refund minus any shipping costs or payment fees I incurred.
