FS: Rare & Stylish Looking Grand Seiko 4520-7000 blue dial

Selling an all original Grand Seiko 4520-7000 (blue dial) that was made in 1969. Overall condition is good. Service history unknown, but it does wind pretty smoothly. Time observation is about +-1minute after week. Movement: 25 Jewel Grand Seiko 4520 Hi-Beat movement in good working order. Hacking function works correctly. Smooth second hand sweep at 36,000 bph.

As you can see, the case is in very unique angular shape which differs from the conventional type. And the case back is in excellent condition with a well preserved gold medallion.

Mind you that this is a dark blue dial which shows that it’s still in very good condition too…But a lot of people may have mistaken it for black. However there was never a black dial made for this model.
This 45GS series was the final series that was manufactured by the Daini Seikosha company as verified by the famous Grand Seiko Guy who is seeling this at US$2000:
