HELLO CHRONOTRADER!
I am looking for an Hour, Minute, and Second hand. I added to my collection a ref. 3641 because the little triangles on the outer edges of the creme dial swooned me. :)
The version of this watch (the one that I acquired) is listed in the 1962 catalog. (best link is below)
Might anyone have one or more of these for sale or perhaps be able to point me in the right direction? Do any chronotraders know who made these for Heuer? The second hand looks like possibly Leonidas manufactured these from what I can see from certain parts guides.
I would guess that any hands from a ~1962ish Heuer that have one of the reference numbers below (in green) would do the trick from a length standpoint, however as these watches have one of several different movements, the holes might not be the correct size.
Example: My new ref. 3641's movement is a Valjoux 92, so I would guess that the second hand's hole should be roughly 82H, 0.26mm. This might not be true for a different Valjoux.
Even knowing this, I am willing to take a gamble on hands that appear to be a match because:
1. The hole size is somewhat tricky to determine.
2. I could get lucky.
Thank you for any help team,
- STEVE
Ref. numbers for ~1962ish Heuers with potentially matching hands: 404, 405, 409, 415, 2444, 2445, 2456, 3336, 3645

P.S. The same 1962 catalog that is featured on Calibre 11 appears to be missing several pages, so it is best to use the OnTheDash link that is included above.
