FS: FABULOUS OMEGA SPEEDMASTER REF. 145.022-78 BLUE/GREY BEZEL

Hi guys,
Selling this very nice & very honest Omega Speedmaster 145.022-78.
The watch was a true barn find but to be honest it was in a very poor condition.
It got a full movement service and good cleaning by my watchmaker.
He replaced the cracked plexi by a new original Omega plexi with the Omega logo.
Also the crown was replaced by a correct crown. Total cost of the overhaul was 625 euros.
I give a 12 month guarantee on the movement. It goes without saying the watch is working perfect again.

Some say it's impossible to say wether a Speedmaster has been polished in the past or not.
I tend to believe this one is untouched. Of course it has several scratches and little dents but it's incredibly sharp and the lugs are very thick.

Dial is in perfect condition without any scratches or stains.
The hour indices still have all the original tritium. I can show pictures under UV light.
Minute and hour hand also are the original and glow faintly under UV. The chrono seconds hand has been relumed I believe.
Hands have that super cool dark green kaki color. The white paint has some stains from aging. It all gives the watch that stunning look.

DNN bezel is one of the nicest I have seen. It was rigorously cleaned and under all the dirt a fantastic blue/grey colored bezel appeared.

Case-back is super nice and clean with no scratches from amateur case-openings.
All the correct engravings inside the case-back.

I am offering the watch with a very nice handmade leather strap by Massimiliano. ( see pictures )
