FS: 1972 Fortis Marinemaster V72

This is a very rarely seen Fortis MarineMaster Model no. is 8001 aka 'Blue' circa 1972. This thing is super cool

In fact, it's so rare, information on this model is hard to come by online. I did contact Fortis, and they kindly provided me with a spec sheet from their archives, but even they had little info on it. For more details see my blog post:
http://heuerville.wordpress.com/2013/11/09/fortis-marinemaster-8001-blue-c1972/

Case is 39mm, but the bezel overhangs, so around 40/41mm in 'real life', 200m WR (not tested). Wears quite big - Best way to describe it is.. imagine that you crossed a vintage Submariner with a 60's Autavia, and thrown in some 'Siffert Blue' colouring!
If you search around online, don't confuse this with the re-issue Fortis brought out this year (or was it last year), which was a limited edition of 500.

It's completely all original, with some minor battle scars, on the whole a very presentable watch. If you're a V72 fan, you'll know that pretty much anything V72 driven costs an arm and a leg these days! All works as it should, service history unknown. Got any questions, just fire away.

Selling head only, but will throw in a strap.

Please send your best offer. Bank Transfer Prefered, or PP + fees. Please don't be offended if I seek references - thanks.

And the spec sheet from Fortis' archives...

Thanks
Stewart
