PVD Montreal case/Kentucky dial

I am looking at a PVD coated Montreal case (Stamped 750.503) but has a champagne Kentucky dial and the day/date is in German. The crown has the letter "S" on it--which I was told could be a supplier's mark ?

I know Heuer might have been liberal in using cases and dials together---but is this a legit combination or a frankenwatch?
