Hi everyone
This is my first post in the Heuer-forum. I have collected other brands for many years but have for some reason never bought a Heuer. I have wanted to buy a Heuer 2447s for some time, and some years ago, I bookmarked an advertisement that now is inactive. Before the vacation I reached out to the seller, and it turns out that he still has the watch.
Since I am not as knowledgeable as many of the members of this forum, I would greatly appreciate your guidance when it comes to the originality of the watch. According to the seller, this is a later first execution that he bought in USA from a vintage dealer and that’s from around 1963 (he says the serial is 70xxx). He does not know the service history of the watch. Here are links to pictures of his 2447s:
The watch looks very nice and has the simple white dial that I’ve always wanted. Can anyone tell me if this looks original, if the condition seems good and if an asking-price of 5500 Euro seems fair?
Thanks a lot in advance
