here are links to some of the vintage Autavias that likely served as the inspirations for the re-issues.

  • the white-dialed Autavia was styled after what is referred to as the "Siffert" model of the Autavia. One of these is shown below.

  • the black-dialed Autavia bears the closest resemblance to this older Autavia, Reference 11630 MH.

Both these came on the bracelets, or the leather straps. They date from the mid- to late-1970's.
