I'll post photos in a few days but the first conclusion is that in the metal it looks "right". The dial looks correct under the loupe, with what looks like 30 years of dust and gunge,
But most interesting is the reference number between the lugs: 741.603!
That matches the manual GMT reference number - so my theory about the hands being the same as the GMT looks correct.
So far I am 99% sure this is real Heuer product and not a franken - what do others think?
BTW: as is usual with the bizarre circumstances of these watches, I see there is a triple subdial version on sale in chronotrader.
So maybe Heuer didn't play dice with the universe...
