Shown below are two of your photos, as a "sandwich" around the Patrizzi catalog photo. We see that, on the Patrizzi photo, the orange has turned to red (for example, on the hash marks at 5-10-15-20-etc.), and -- worst of all -- the lume on the dial has turned to white. This led me to wonder -- before the auction -- whether this dial had been refinished.
So how do we explain this? Poor photography by Patrizzi or someone being overly aggressive with the PhotoShop, perhaps to make the watch look cleaner? I have to wonder what other nice watches were adversely affected by the bad work on the PhotoShop?
In any case, congratulations on this nice pick-up . . . I like to buy the ugly photos of the beautiful watches, but would never expect this opportunity when the professionals are taking the photos.
