Friends:

Today I was on my way to a meeting in Downtown Manhattan and passed by the gargantuan construction site of Ground Zero. I was pleased to notice that the first, and probably the most crucial, module of the glass facade at the Freedom Tower has been installed. No intention here to trigger 40,000 more messages to speculate about architectural, historical, political ad sociological significances of the towers and the rebuilding of the site. However, I have to say that after years of battles, delays and procrastinations, that sleek piece of glass really stamped a smile on my face and injected a good dose of optimism for the days to come. No direct links to Heuermania yet, but I did want it to share with friends...
