Thanks Rich,
Even with a Google translate some important information can be easily lost in translation, most of the main translation engines differ massively.
I suppose a lesson is to be learned here, especially with the other tranny model selling for c£6k+ on ebay.. be careful, a bargain Monaco is rare. I would risk a punt on other Heuer models with poor photos, this has sometimes proved beneficial (& sometimes not so), I suppose I've been lucky so far. I, like many have been on the look-out for a 'bargain Monaco', but I think that such a thing doesn't really exist. (well... they might, but the risks are massively bigger)
Sure, you could be very lucky and score a winner on ebay, but it is more likely that you'll be £2-3K out of pocket.
My advice on Monacos... (from someone who doesn't own one, but has wanted one).. buy from Rich or any of our other trusted Heuerists.
Such is the value of them, the greater the risk of buying a 'wrong-un'.
Cheers
Stewart
