I thought I'd run a little tournament to see the answer.
The first quarter final is the Autavias...
That one the 1960s version wins quite easily.

This one is a very close game... but I think the 60's shades it (just)

Very tough decision. These days in sports, money talks (ask the US World Cup bid team), so let's say the 1970's win the $75,000 question, in extra time.

...err, OK that one was a walkover for the 1970's as the 1960's challenger didn't show up.
Not sure how the semi finals will shape up. Any opinions?
