You know sometimes you just Google around and you stumble on something amazing?
Well, I found this picture:
and thought it was just amazing! So I found out the artist, who turns out to be Edgar Müller, a German 3D pavement artist.
So amazed was I in fact, that I began to doubt that it was real and was just some Photoshop effort (ahhh, the cynicism of the Internet age) but then I found this video of them putting together another of the paintings/installations:

I've seen some pretty impressive 3D pavement paintings before, but never on this sort of scale, or quite as convincing.
Just thought I'd share!
