: The building marked 100 doesn't look much like the facade of 100
: Park Ave at ground level.
Playing around with Street View, I noticed that the facade that 100 Park Ave presents to East 40th St is entirely different to the one on Park Avenue itself and does indeed look your photo all the way down. They saved all the glass for the Park Ave frontage and went with that drab grey on the side.
