Yes, James, i would not have touched the dial...

Sometimes you may find it necessary to have a dial restored, if it has already badly relumed, or other damages had happened,
but i did not find your dial in so bad condition to work on it.

But this, like case polishing, are strictly personal choices, so take mine as my personal opinion that not necessarily could be like many others!
