Tractor + AK47 when used to describe a movement are true compliments ;)

I sent Sinn a question via their Twitter account if the Lemania 5100 inside the EZM1 is "standard" or modified. What if they replaced all plastics with proper metal parts and have Diapal for lubrication? Quite honestly, this would send me to the Moon :)

Curious to know what the watchmakers think here - how come no company has issued their version of a 5100 with all parts metal, updated, blah-blah. Is that due to patents or just too high an investment? Cheers
