In its June 1975 road test, Road & Track Magazine called the Boxer “the fastest road car we’ve ever tested.” But the 175 mph it recorded was well short of the 188 Ferrari had claimed.

: the weekend. I'm sure that, back in 1975, I had all the right
: magazines to answer this question, but -- against my wishes --
