Hi Stewart - as requested here is the lastest picture of this beauty. I have been thinking about making hands and posted this on TZUK:
Here is one for the technical among us. I have absolutly no hands on knowledge or experience dealing with the mechanics of a watch so I was wondering is any of the forum members had every made a set of hands. I happen to be searching for a pair of hour and minute hands for an early Heuer Autavia with valjoux 72 and I am not the only one. If there was an original pair out there they would have been found by now but there isnt. So there are at least 5 collectors with the same dilema.
Maybe there is a member on this forum who has experience making hands. I have no idea what process/processes are use eg stamped, cast, cut etc but there must be someone out there who has some idea.
Lets see what comes up.
regards
Paul
