Re: Missing "dot" on bezel
In Response To: Missing "dot" on bezel ()

Jeff, it would have been filled with lume, it's common for it to degrade and fall out.
Simple job for a skilled relumer.

: I have acquired a 980.020N Tag Heuer 1000 that is basically in
: great condition. The dial and hands appear as new and general
: the bezel is also in good condition EXCEPT the "dot"
: or small jewel at 10 o'clock is missing. Is this something that
: can be fixed? If so, how?

: I am enjoying wearing the watch even with the above mentioned
: defect. The band is not in as good a condition as the rest of
: the watch. I am trying to decide whether to get a leather strap.

: Thanks.
