The one i wish they had made
In Response To: Manual wind "Siffert" How many? ()

I've thought about this on a few occasions but the one version of the Autavia i wish they had made was a combination of the flat 1163 style case, Valjoux 7740 movement & 2 register + date dial in Siffert colours.
But with the Siffert automatic production seeming to have ceased in the 3rd quarter of 1972 and Heuer first embracing the Valjoux 7740 in 1974 its clear why this combination is nothing but a figment of my imagination.

Back to reality now. Here's my 73463 in Siffert colours.

These watches are very simple but very pleasing at the same time.
