Autavia install bezel

Hi All,

wanted to change bezel,
to remove the old one was easy but I tried and tried to fix the new (old) one, cann't put the spring in the right place.
Then saw at the removed one, someone had shortened the spring to 2/3 (being left) , that is easy to fix, but rest it in place? Are there a special methode to install the full length spring?
