Sorry to introduce myself this way, but I have been pointed in this direction by Lou S from Omega Forums.
A friend of mine who lives in the Richmond / Kew area of London was burgled on new years eve and had some watches stolen. As well as a TW Steel, his new (to him) Heuer Carrera was taken. He hadn't even got round to recording the serial number but it is in virtually "as new" condition with original crown, a brown strap and has a "45 dial format", which apparently has a red number ring. He does have pictures and the watch could be identified by the service markings on the inside of the case back (of which he does have a photograph from the dealer from whom he bought it)
If anybody hears of one for sale, please let me know.
Many thanks in advance.
