I, for one, like the look of the normal modern Monaco with the black face and white markings (I even own one). It brings a certain elegance to this racing watch, kind of like a modern-day Porsche 911: A true sports car underneath, but with a luxurious veneer.
That said, this model with the PVD and slightly different chronograph seconds hand just doesn't really do it for me.
