Advice for Heuer 1133B Monaco

Hi,

Having owned a few modern production Monacos, I've been itching to make a jump to the original 1133B.

Unfortunately, the asking prices vary widely (from 9k to 18k USD), some with box and papers, some that look suspiciously brand spanking new. Clearly I need expert guidance before even attempting to approach such an acquisition.

A few questions I have in mind are:
1) What are the realistic transacted price range (as opposed to asked prices) for the 1133B?
2) What are the things I should watch out for to avoid a multiple parts fix-it-up?
3) Once I do get it, will the average watch maker be able to service it?
