As we all know, a GF for a 60's Carrera is hot property.. they look amazing IF you can find one, and then, you have to dig very deep to pay for it.
I 'make do' with a black perforated strap, and it looks great. Recently, whilst surfing eBay, I spotted a NOS beads of rice Movado bracelet, presumably from the 60's as a 'buy it now'.

I won't tell you what it cost me, because it will make you cry.. not because it was so expensive, but because it was so damn reasonable! - something that rarely happens these day when it comes to vintage watches.
Anyway, I have just fitted it.. and WOW, like a new watch! I admit that my poor old Carrera doesn't get worn much.. I favour bigger watches.. but this bracelet really makes it look a lot bigger - strange, but honestly true!
