So How's the Market for Vintage Heuers / Others?

In a message below, David refers to "the soft market these days", which -- as they say in the South -- got me to thinking:

  • What are collectors seeing in the market right now?
  • For vintage Heuers / other brands?
  • For the super rare-super premium, and the more common models? NOS versus beaters?
  • How soft is this "soft"? What percentage declines have we seen?
  • What factors are driving the current market? The economy / demographics?
  • Any forecasts for the future?
It should be interesting to see the various perspectives.
