Good point, that had also bothered me. We have discussed the fact that Zenith is using a relatively small movement, at 13 ligne, that was designed in the late 1960s, in a case that has been enlarged to suit modern preferences. Seems that the larger, overlapping registers are part of the design package, resulting in the loss of hash marks.
Wouldn't it be great if the watchmakers could blow up the size of these classic movements as easily as they blow up the classic cases. Oh well, we can dream!!
