For the most part riders hate this track because of the pavement transitions. The part of the original oval they race on has a ton of traction but the purpose built road course part is slippery. Ben Spies caught a wheel today and flipped his bike coming on to the main straight from the last turn and (I think) is out of the race for tomorrow.
