Re: HAPPY RETURN from LCdF :-)
In Response To: HAPPY RETURN from LCdF :-) ()

Hi Olaf, Mark etc,

With such a group of collectors it is always a pleasure to organize. I will never forget the look on the faces on Monday when we entered the conference room with this 10 meters or even longer table filled with vintage watches, dials, booklets, leaflets and other collectable stuff. There they stood, 30 or so collectors with eyes nearly popping out of their sockets and opened mouths out of sheer excitement: The air was filled with "Ooooohhh...aaaaahhhhh" those first 10 seconds. It was ike being little boys seeing their "Christmas presents on Christmas eve"..unforgettable. I hope there are some nice photos of that.

Anyhow, we are collecting photos now and are planning to prepare a nice report for everyone to read. Of course a copy will not only be sent to this great site, but also to TAG Heuer's hosts Marie, Fabienne, Alexia and not to forget Mr Jack Heuer who still looks very alicve and kicking.
May take a few days the report ,but it will surely come. Hopefully Eric Wind will also see a chance to publish something nice on Hodinkee. He certianly did have the chance to make "one or two"wrist shots in Chaux de Fond! Even his charming wife helped him now and then, although being in the happy circumstance of the expectance of a baby soon

I/we hope everyone got home safely, with no more engine problems like Andreas had unfortunately on Sunday evening. And, enjoy these very precious memories that you will never forget!

Cheers
Ron
