: slightly cheaper (no offense) version of the model in the
: catalogue. It was common for Heuer to have 18ct gold versions
: and then more affordable plated versions. They did this with the
: wristwatches in certain lines.

No offense taken, Cheaper is still better than a fake. We did not test the case itself, I was not very comfortable having the movement open with a less than competent sales person. still very happy with the currant info on this watch. Again, many thanks for all the help. Warren
