Re: Vintage Watch Shops in Sydney???

: Anyone???

There are a couple of watch shops worth visiting in Sydney. In the QVB centre - middle of the city - there are a couple of watch places including Kalmar. Also in the city are Fredman SVW and Nicholas Hacko (by appointment usually). Sydney is a wonderful city to live and play but the vintage watch scene is lousy - IMHO. Prices usually reflect the general high cost of imported items in Australia. I've never seen a good vintage Heuer watch - not for the lack of looking. You'll see mostly Rolex, Omega and the usual suspects incl. Longines and Panerai. Good luck!

Alex.
