: sun buckle - beta (vintage shown by Jurgen) buckles steel and solid
: golds - beta (modern with B swiss acier inox script bundled
: close together and used more commonly by the Heuer modern
: re-edition models) -and lastly B just a plain B.
: the solid gold buckles have always been mysterious for me did Heuer
: make these or skilled gold smiths.
The steel Beta came on an unmolested Jochen Rindt... before corfam?
Note that the "lugs" on my steel Beta are thinner than a beta shown earlier by MichWir.
Don't know about the golden Beta. Incoming from california, intended for my '46 2558.
But that one definitely has the newer style thicker "lugs". Once here I'll have a goldsmith (plenty here in Amsterdam) check the marks.
