Heuer Verona - two questions

Hello

I am a total novice to Heuers, and I am in the process of purchasing a Heuer Verona in steel, black dial. I am now looking to a nice specimen.

May I ask you two simple questions:

1- Is it true that the Heuer Verona should have the serial number of the movement also inscribed between the lugs?

2- And - sorry for the stupid question - where is the serial number on the cal. 12 ?

Best wishes and thanks in advance

Franco, UK
