Re: Dial not genuine
In Response To: Dial not genuine ()

I was wondering if someone was going to post this one. The entire watch is a fake. Heuer did not sign the chrono bridge like this on the Valjoux cal 77 (or 92) and the inside of the back is incorrect also. Owner claims to be a long time collector who does not know (maybe) that he got taken on this one. Pitty the new owner!

: Well, the dial is not genuine - but to be fair, the seller states
: it has been re-printed.

: As for the rest of the watch.. I don't know, these early chronos
: aren't my area of expertise, but I'd err on the side of caution
: with this one.
: Looks quite big for an early up/down chrono. I did have one once,
: it was quite small.
