You, as he did, took a gamble and it has paid off as evidenced by the before and after images. Enviable results, but I am sure views will differ. I for one would not be put off by a re-lumed dial as long as it is done conscientiously and is in line with the original look.

As the old ranger moto goes "rangers lead the way" or in your case "abel leads the way" ...
