I was there as a volunteer Racemaker. The event was a terrific success. As usual there was a wave of applause and 'honking' for H. everytime he passed his Fans.
But a lucky and superbly driven win in a fabulous car. People were refusing free ear defenders because the cars were quieter. But the GP2/3 were as loud as ever. Even the V8 Merc Safety cars gave a more raucous 'growl'. See, John Cote, you should have come as my Guest at the Racing Club. Mind, you would have some better pics (than me) to show for it.
