Here's a very interesting posting on ABlogToWatch, by Ariel Adams, about the current position and strategy of TAG Heuer. The key message -- With Bulgari, Zenith and Hublot in the LVMH Group, TAG Heuer needs to focus on the entry-level segment of the market . . . $1,000 to $3,000 watches.
It's an interesting discussion of how the new "Don't Crack Under Pressure" campaign seeks to attract the younger, entry-level demographic.
My guess -- We continue to see the Monaco and Carrera models, at the top of the line-up . . . not so sure about the position of the V4 and other haute horlogerie pieces.
How do others react to this strategy?
