Really nice Carrera, these ones are a bit more "under the radar" than the more famous 1158s, but equally nice, and a bit more elegant.

One thing I really agree with you about is the need for a flat strap on a 60's Carrera. I just do not like padded straps with these watches (or with an early Autavia), it just looks so wrong in my eyes.
