I think a fair price for a 2446C in all original condition either unpolished or very lightly polished is anywhere between $5,000 to $6,000 depending upon how recently the watch was serviced. Having purchased many vintage watches in the past, I cannot stress how important it is to verify that a watch has been recently completely cleaned and fully serviced. I've gotten burned by trying to find the "best" deal possible only to deal with service headaches soon after purchase. There is a reason why certain well known watch dealers ask a little higher price when a watch has been recently serviced and is running exactly as it should. Alternatively, make sure you know a good watchmaker who is willing to give you an honest assessment of the movement before diving into a vintage piece that may not keep acceptable time. To me, knowing when the watch was last serviced is key and takes precedence over a few hundred dollars in price difference.
Hope this helps!
