since Greg has gotten us started with his miracle find ($5.00 for a 18K triple calendar, moonphase), I will add this Reference 404 chronograph (pre-Carrera) in the "Ugly Photo" category. Between now and Monday, I will hope to add several bargains, in various categories.

ebay Seller had absolutely no idea what this was; crystal was cracked and photo was terrible; description said that it was a complicated watch, but did not describe it as a chronograph . . . my winning price was in the $400 range. after an overhaul and a new crystal, it is one of my favorites. dial and hands are perfect.
