Hi all,
I'm looking for someone who has an Heuer cal14 movement dismounted on the desk to take a measure on a wheel.
I need to know the total height of the part 251 GMT hand's wheel (is the 24 hours GMT wheel, is placed outside the 2558 hour wheel and supports the GMT yellow hand in the Autavia 1163 / 11630 / 11063 GMT), in case ofdoubt please contact me and I will send a coupld of images.
I have a 251 one but the shaft is too high as it is for a Breitling Cosmonaute with cal14 (a GMT watch that has only the 24 hours hand and not thd usual 12 hours hand) so I need to adapt my wheel lowering a bit the shaft with a tooling machine to allow the correct mounting of the hands.
I cannot find anywhere this Heuer 251 wheel with correct size and no one among my collectors friends has a Cal14 into his drawer to take this measure, so hope someone could put a hand on his heart and help me.
Wish you all an happy 2015 ending and a fantastic 2016 start.
Thanks you all.
Gianluca
