It´s my watch and I got i a couple a years ago from a seller who picked it up from a death estate sale. Before I bought it I discussed the watch with @Darren Cal.11/12 at the swedish forum http://klocksnack.se/ . The case nr is 840 XXX which indicates it is a later case with earlier dial/hands. The overall condition did not indicate that anyone had touched or tried to "fix it up" in many years so I bought it for a very reasonable price. Maybe something happened to the watch in its early years or maybe it left Heuer with the early dial and and later numbered case? Whats your guess? Anyhow I love the watch and wear it every friday :)
