New record for a Heuer 2446C?

Today a 110.xxx serial Autavia 2446 was sold at a local auction house for a whopping EUR 11.000! (8.600 + 28% fee). Watch was very nice, sharp case, very good dial and hands. Inscriptions on the back crisp. Bezel in very nice condition. Serial and reference were crisp. Bracelet aftermarket. Needless to say I was not the buyer: my limit was about half the final price....
