Carrera = Favorite of Your Eight Posted By: jeff stein Chuck: Jeff great comparisons; great chronos; nice photos!! Great Competitors In my opinion, Omega and Heuer have had the longest rivalry in the Swiss Watch industry. Sure, Heuer will spar with Breitling with their Pilot's, Omega will spar with Rolex for Chronometre awards, but in the end they are always runnin' at one another... if I had to pick one of the eight that you have posted, it would be the Carrera 12 . . . sure, the Seamaster is rare, and the Speedmaster is a classic, and the Audi guys love the Audi chronos, and the rotating-bezel crowd guys like the Autavia, and the Lemania guys like the later Carrera, but that Carrera 12, with the decimal minutes . . . that one is the favorite. 8? eight? It's a good thing you're not a numbers guy because this is the second time this week your countin's been off... thanks for the interesting and wide-ranging comparisons. also, thanks for suggesting the Scan Day theme. if you'll promise eight chronos per week, you can keep naming the themes for the Scan Days!! This is a topic that bears repetition... I picked out 10 Chronographs and compared them head to head in a certain specific way. I could have gone dozens of other routes with this had just as much fun and had a completely different look. We should consider revisiting this topic in the future. Jeff Cheers!
