Thanks for the interesting link Gianni, but as with many it's sad that photobucket has killed a lot of the images. I figure I'll use the buckle on my early 60s Carrera and not worry if it's truly period correct or not. One interesting thing I didn't spot mentioned is that the Sun logo seems to be from a producer that earlier used an MG logo. Referenced on a seemingly very well researched post on Omega buckles.
