I think that's right David-if anything, the dial may possibly be from something like a 7823

and the case is reminiscent of a 73473...but isn't.

I'm afraid even down to the bracelet clasp and movement it is suspect. (The red date window suggests not Heuer original.) If you bought through Paypal you should be covered for a full refund, which is the best course of action I'm afraid...unless you are happy with it as is. :-/
