It certainly ain't Biker Boyz!

Next Question: What is the Ultimate Chrono Movie ? Posted By: Jeff Stein Date: 9/1/05 17:39 GMT In Response To: McQueen Monaco? How about Siegfried Rauch Bucherer (Chicagoland Chuck Maddox)

Chuck:

great watch; great posting; we all enjoy your screen snaps and your interest in this "angle" of watch collecting. all of which brings me to the question: "What is the "ultimate" movie for those of us interested in the vintage chronos?" I saw the end of Apollo 13 a few nights ago, and it was a constant stream of chronos. everyone was wearing a chrono -- from the astronauts to the runners at Mission Control. Is Apollo 13 the movie that would show us the greatest array of vintage chronos? congratulations on identifying and acquiring this latest "Le Mans Chrono". Jeff

Jeff, In going back through my memory and through David Yamasaki's Celebrity Watch page, I would have to say it's probably a dead heat between LeMans and Apollo 13 at this point. Although Tomorrow Never Dies has some nice product placement:
It's not really a "Chrono" movie as most of the watches of interest aren't chronographs.

BTW, I'll only watch "Biker Boyz" again if I'm paid a vintage Monaco (in advance). It's not so much I want a vintage Monaco, but rather I'd like to avoid having to watch that again!
