Actually, ironically enough, I knew... I was square in the middle of the target audience for both this show and the Brady Bunch when I was a kid. This is probably not especially cool to admit but back in the days when you were lucky to have five TV channels (The three majors, PBS and an Independent). Thus, one didn't necessarily have a lot of choice, and after all kids my age were where these shows were targeted and parents probably felt a lot better about their kids watching Shirley Jones than the Rolling Stones. So I remember watching as a kid.

Fast forward to a couple of years ago... For a couple of months one of the local independent UHF TV channels in Chicago ran episodes of "The Monkees" and "The Partridge Family" back to back from 8-9 in the mornings one summer a couple of years back. I had vaguely remembered the Monkee's TV show, but through oldies stations I was introduced to many of their hits.

An aside: (Did you know Neil Diamond wrote "I'm a Believer"? Think about him singing that song, it fit's his voice perfectly!)

So for that summer while I was cruising TZ and eBay, most mornings I would have those shows on. I was a bit surprised to spy that Monaco on Reuben Kincaid's (actor Dave Madden's) wrist during an episode.

So I knew about it before today, but I can't say I remembered it from when I was a kid, but I always liked the Reuben Kincaid character. Perhaps subliminally that was why!

Anyway, the thought had occurred to me to me that people would enjoy seeing screen snaps of this, but I haven't been able to muster up the desire or the moxie to go to Best Buy to purchase the DVD's! I mean, c'mon! A guy in his mid 40's buying The Partridge Family?

So anyway, if someone wants to send me the DVD's I'll do screen snaps! If you think that's a bit much, yeah, you'd have to pay for 'em, but I would have to watch 'em!

=)
