Help with my Monaco Chrono

Hi...

I just bought a Monaco (McQueen) CW 2113 off eBay and yes, it's real. However, I didn't get any paper with it and, while I'm not horologically-challenged, I can't for the life of me figure out how to use the two chrono buttons and read the subdials. One is supposedly "elapsed time" and the other is seconds... but again, hitting the buttons doesn't seem to "start" them ticking... it merely moves the single hand around each corresponding sub-dial. Can anyone out there tell me how to use and read them...? Thanks!
